This command adds a pressed claim on the specified title to the designated character. If no character is specified, then the pressed claim is added to your character.
The ID of the title you want the pressed claim to be added to. | |
Optional | The ID of the character who you want to make the pressed claim. |
The add_claim
command is used to give a character a specific claim within the game. A claim is a legal right to a title that a character can declare on another character's lands.
The add_claim
command works like this: you input the command add_claim
, followed by the ID of the title you want to give a claim for, then optionally the ID of the character you wish to give the claim to.
For example, if you wanted to give a claim on the Duchy of Aquitaine to a character with the ID 140, you would type add_claim d_aquitaine 140
.
If no character ID
is specified, the command will default to your character.
Giving your character a claim can be a way to legally acquire lands in the game without resorting to warfare or marriage. This can be particularly useful if you're playing as a character with low martial ability or have few marriageable family members.
Be aware though, just because you have a claim doesn't mean everyone will respect it, and it could lead to conflict down the line.
