Overview

The command add_pending_court_event is used to add a pending event to the character's court.

Each character of importance, like your character, has a court, which is populated by characters like their counselors, courtiers, guests, and prisoners. The court is an important part of gameplay as it's where many events, decisions, and various adventures happen.

The add_pending_court_event command would queue up an event to happen at the player's court. The events in the court are game situations that bring elements of storytelling to the game.

It could be anything from a feast to a murder plot, and it varies the gameplay bringing unpredictability and depth to your court proceedings.

These events can have both positive and negative outcomes, influencing various aspects such as relationships with other characters, character's skills, or status, and sometimes even leading to war.

The nature of the event created depends on the argument passed with the command, which determines what kind of event is created.
