Overview

The command ai.enable in Crusader Kings III is utilized to control the artificial intelligence (AI) of the characters in the game.

Activating this command enables the AI for a specific character if their ID is specified. If no character ID is provided, then all of the characters' AI in the game will be enabled.

AI, in the context of Crusader Kings III, determines the actions, decisions, and overall behavior of characters in the game. When AI is enabled for a character, the game takes control of that character's decisions and behavior based on the programmed AI rules.

Applying the ai.enable command can be helpful in a number of scenarios. For example, if you want to observe how characters and the overall game evolves without your interventions, you can use this command to enable AI for all characters.

On the other hand, enabling/disabling AI for specific characters can help you manage and control the behavior and actions of those characters as per your gameplay strategy.

How to Open the Command Console

In CK3, cheats are executed from the command console, a text box that you type commands into.

To open the command console press the ~ (tilde) key, which is typically located under ESC (escape).

If your keyboard does not have that key, or pressing ~ does not work, try the following keys:

  • ~
  • SHIFT + 2
  • SHIFT + 3
  • ALT + 2 + 1

Type your command into the console, and then press ENTER .
