Overview
The "clear_title_laws" command in Crusader Kings III is a cheat code used to erase all existing succession laws associated with a specific title. In Crusader Kings III, succession laws determine the specific order of inheritance that is applied to a title when its holder passes away, it affects who the title will pass to after the current holder's death. Title such as Duchy, Kingdom, or Empire can have different laws.
By inputting the "clear_title_laws" followed by the title id, you are effectively nullifying any previously established rules for that title's inheritance. This means that when the present ruler dies, the system for determining the new ruler will be reset and will likely fall back to the game's default setting.
This command can be useful when you want to change the succession line for a specific title but the previously established laws are hindering the change. By clearing the laws, you have a clean slate to assign new laws. This can be helpful in managing the political dynamics of your kingdom or empire in the game as you can directly impact the line of succession.
